Nursery

Children can now access our Nursery from the term after their 3rd birthday

Children born between 1st January and 31st March 2016 can be admitted to Nursery from April 2019. The summer term begins on 24th April 2019. If your child is born between these dates the applications will be open from February half term and places will be allocated by 28th February 2019.

Applications are made via a paper application form which can either be downloaded or collected from the school office. We are able to offer 3, 4, or 5 terms at our Nursery depending on availability. It is likely that if your child is eligible to start our nursery in either the Spring term or Summer term they will be given an afternoon place.

Applications

If you would like to apply for a place in our Nursery for September 2019 please complete our Application Form and return it to the School Office.

You need to be aware that completing an application form does not guarantee a place in our Nursery class.

If offered a place in the nursery class, you will still have to apply separately for a place in reception and follow the Hertfordshire online admission system via the Herts Direct Website

We will write to parents offering Nursery places for September 2019 on the 18th March 2019.

We will need a response to either accept or decline the place by 28th March 2019.

If you wish to defer your entry into Reception and stay in Nursery because your child is summer born (Summer born children are those born between 1st April and 31st August 2015) the deadline for letting us know is the 28th March 2019.

If you are remaining in our Nursery because you have deferred or because your child is younger and you have already started in our Nursery you will be given preference on the Nursery option you would like for September.

If any option is oversubscribed, spaces will be allocated using the following admission criteria:

1. Everyone who wants 15 hours will be offered a place

2. If there is oversubscription for 15 hour places we will continue to implement the following admission criteria:
