Wheatfields Infants' & Nursery School opened in 1964 and is
in a residential area in
the North East of St Albans. It
shares an open and attractive site with Wheatfields Junior
and Sandringham Secondary School.

|Our School Council is elected termly. They meet regularly to discuss current issues in school. The Council includes 2 pupils from each class in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2. Their focus is caring for ourselves and caring for others. Find out more about them here.
We have placed sustainability at the heart of our school and we have 6 Sustainable Ambassadors in Year 2 who undergo training in order to promote sustainable activities in school, particularly in terms of caring for the environment.
Last year our ambassadors achieved a Silver eco award, this year our target is a Green Flag Award. Find out more here.
