Wheatfields Infants' & Nursery School opened in 1964 and is located in a residential area in the North East of St Albans. It shares an open and attractive site with Wheatfields Junior School and Sandringham Secondary School.

We promote a warm and caring community where every child is valued and respected as an individual.  We are committed to providing a secure, safe and happy environment, and we expect high standards of achievement and behaviour. We believe in developing each child’s self-esteem and confidence so they can all achieve and rise to their daily challenges. We encourage in children a respect for moral values and tolerance of all religions, traditions and cultures.

We believe education is a partnership between home and school, and they should be complementary. Home is where much valuable learning occurs through a variety of experiences and much encouragement and support. School aims to build on this care and experience.
