Bookings

Bookings should be made, in advance, via the School Gateway. 40 places are available for Breakfast sessions and 70 places for the Afterschool sessions. If a particular session is oversubscribed, please contact Mrs Acres at the Treetops' email address and she will look into the possibility of increased staffing.

If you require any additional sessions at short notice, you can check availability and book online up until midnight, the day before.

Please email acresd@wheatfieldsinfants.aat.school to inform us if your child is not going to attend for any reason.

To register with School Gateway, enter the email address and mobile number on which your school(s) contact you, and press the ‘Send PIN’ button. You will then be sent a new PIN number by text. If you have any difficulties registering, please contact the school office who will be able to help you.

Payment will be required at the time of booking and parents may select their child's sessions, which can be different from week to week.

Childcare Vouchers/Tax Free Childcare Allowance

We accept payments using childcare vouchers, the government Tax Free Childcare Allowance or 30 hour childcare funding, and are registered with all of the main providers. If you wish to pay by these methods, please email Mrs Acres, in advance of booking, with the value of your vouchers/payment and she will add credit to your School Gateway Account. Payments will be credited to Breakfast and/or Afterschool Club, according to your requirements. Then, you will be able to book your child's sessions via your School Gateway.

Please note that if you wish to use any of your 30 hour allocation, you must submit your claim for hours to HMRC in time. If you are unsure about claiming, please contact Mrs Maxwell in the school office.

Food

At Breakfast Club a nutritious breakfast is served, comprising of a choice of healthy cereals, toast with a variety of toppings, bacon sandwiches, fruit juices and milk. Please ensure your child arrives by 8.15am if they require breakfast.

During the afternoon we will serve a ‘sandwich style snack’.

Children should not bring their own food, as we have a number of children with food allergies.

Parents should inform Treetops staff if their child is attending another afterschool club before attending Treetops.

Parents will inform Treetops staff if there are any variations to normal collection arrangements.

The school will use the current contact and medical information held on the school pupil database in the event of any emergency.

Late collections, outside of the session booked, will be subject to a charge of £10.00 per child. Late collections after 6.15pm will incur a charge of £15.00. The late fee will be added to your School Gateway account. Frequent late collections will result in the place being withdrawn.

Treetops will close at 5.00pm on the last day of each term when school closes at 2.00pm.

In the event of bad weather and the school being closed, the Breakfast and Afterschool Clubs will be cancelled. No refunds will be given.

If you need to cancel a session, please contact Mrs Acres. We are unable to give credit for sessions cancelled with less than one week’s notice.  We work on a ratio of 1 adult per 8 children and need sufficient time to ensure that we have adequate numbers of staff in place and that staffing is cost effective. No refunds will be given if your child is absent due to illness.

All parents must sign and return the Treetops Agreement Form prior to their child attending either club.
