We have four houses at school that were chosen by the school council.

These are The Wick, Heartwood, Clarence Park and Jersey Farm

These houses are all named after parks found in the nearby vicinity.

Each child is placed in a house and over each year will support their house through various half termly house challenges and through our annual sports day.

Current house points for this year 2021/2022 are as follows:

           The Wick 780

        Heartwood 820

        Clarence Park 710

        Jersey Farm 740

In October, we did the first of our house challenges - A FASHION SHOW. The children designed and created their own fashion ranges form recycled materials. Each class chose their own class house winner and then we all enjoyed watching each other’s fashion show; each class then voted for their overall favourite. It was a close contest as there were three favourites as voted for by the children. However we could only have one winner for this challenge and that was Oak Class - The Wick. That meant that the house challenge points for this challenge were as follows:

        The Wick 170

        Heartwood 150

        Clarence Park 130

        Jersey Farm 110

At the start of February we did our next house challenge. This involved each class, as houses performing a musical composition. The children made some great videos and shared these with each class. The children voted for their favourite within the class.

Nursery chose to all sing Wiggle your fingers

Conkers  chose  "The Wick" sang Five Little Men.

Acorns  chose "The Wick" Rock a bye baby

Pinecones chose "Jersey Farm" Wind the bobbin up

Chestnut chose "The Wick" Great big Polar Bear

Oak chose "Heartwood" See the dinosaur dance

Willow all chose to sing Great Big Polar Bear

Ash chose "The Wick" Rainbow kind of Day

Maple chose "Jersey Farm" Rainbow kind of day

Beech chose "The Wick" Rainbow kind of day

Each class then had to chose a favourite from those winners. This time it was Jersey Farm in Maple class that won.  Well done everyone for taking part.

That meant that the house challenge points for this challenge were as follows:

        The Wick 310

        Heartwood 170

        Clarence Park 160

        Jersey Farm 330
