We have four houses at school that were chosen by the school council.
These houses are all named after parks found in the nearby vicinity. Current house points are as follows:
The Wick 700
Clarence Park 150
Jersey Farm 800
Each child is placed in a house and over each year will support their house through various house challenges and through our annual sports day.
Over the last couple of weeks, the children have been performing by singing, dancing and reciting poetry, by class, in their house groups, for our House Challenge. This is the first house challenge that we have been able to do this year. All performances were outstanding, but with all House Challenges, there is a winner, voted for, this time, by the children. For this challenge, Wick in Beech class, performed their way to victory, by singing and playing glockenspiels and xylophones, a song about friendship from our Charanga curriculum! We will have a second house challenge after half term and hopefully our sports day will also add to the tally to add on overall winner for this year.
