Electric Umbrella came to perform to our school March 2023

We have been so lucky to have M.P. Robertson visit our school for the last two days. What an inspiration! The children have all been so engaged and excited by his workshops this week listening to stories and learning how to draw dragons! I remember a few years ago being inspired by “The Egg” as a great book for the children to become familiar with.  I learnt this week that this was his first book and so how fantastic it is to have had the real life author in our school of such a well-loved book.

Whata great dragon he left us with!

Children took part in a Community Diwali Art Project

A very big thank you to all of you for helping to make the Diwali initiative at St Albans Museum and Gallery so beautiful. The students worked incredibly hard with their vibrant and intricate designs, each so unique and made full of love and colour which created our larger rangoli installation as a community project.

I have attached a link to the Herts Ad paper below with some coverage about the event and how the event made visitors and those in our community feel. It was truly special and shows how we all created something so beautiful together through our creativity.
